Submissions
Are you an author seeking a book publisher accepting submissions?
Look no further!
Though an agent is not required to submit your manuscript to Cozy Reads Publishing we do have a couple of requirements.
We are looking for fictional submissions that are at least 40, 000 words or greater.
Some authors submit their scripts to several publishers at once. We understand that. However, in order to move forward with any formal offer, we would require a brief period of exclusivity. Therefore, if you have submitted your manuscript to multiple publishers we do require that be stated at the time of submission.
What to include
- Genre
- Expected word count
- Standalone or Series – If it’s a series please include the number of books you plan to include in the series
- An author bio along with your publishing history
- Your full legal name as well as your pen name if you plan on using one
- A brief synopsis of your book
- Active social media links including Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads, Inkitt, Wattpad, etc.
Setting up your submission
- For completed manuscripts please attach only the first 4 chapters (we may request the full manuscript for further evaluation before making a decision)
- We accept Microsoft Word & PDF documents
- 12pt, Times New Roman or Calibri, Single line spacing
- A scene break is to be indicated by a single line
